Melbourne development Woodlea, developed in a partnership between Victoria Investments & Properties and Mirvac, has announced the launch of its 37-home display village, along with a host of other amenities delivered up front in the development timeline.
The display village at Woodland Boulevard, Rockbank, showcases homes from 14 of Australia’s leading builders including Henley, Carlisle, Porter Davis and Mirvac.
Other milestones that the development has passed include the completion of:
A pioneering Work Integrated Learning Centre, housed within the Woodlea Sales & Discovery Centre, that will become a central destination where residents and members of the local community will be able to do vocational courses as well as online education and technical classes.
The ‘Go West – Eatery and Tuckshop’ café, which is the latest venture from renowned Melbourne restauranteur, Jason Jones, of Entrecôte, Stables of Como and Friends of Mine.
The project’s first public park, a substantial $2.5 million, 7,000 square metre in size, complete with a treehouse play space, mega slide, flying fox, trampolines, kick-about space and picnic shelters. Upon completion every home at Woodlea will be within 200 metres of a park.
“Delivering these first few assets in tandem with the first homes reaching completion was always our intention. We are delighted to have brought the first stage in the Woodlea vision to reality so early in the project’s lifespan, so that our first residents will be able to realise the benefits as soon as they move in."
