Watpac Wins $70 Million Central Adelaide Bid

C

Watpac Limited has announced it has been awarded a $70 million contract to build the Central Adelaide Apartments residential development for Luks Investments.

Located on Grote Street in Adelaide's CBD, Watpac will deliver a state-of-the-art 18-storey apartment complex comprising 260 apartments available in studio 1, 2 and 3 bedroom configurations, ground floor retail and lower level parking with car parking facilities.

The residential development will also feature a sky garden with BBQ facilities, skypool, mini-golf course, stone massage, walking track, fitness centre, mini cinema and billiard rooms.

Watpac Limited Managing Director Martin Monro said the project is a significant addition to the Group's portfolio in South Australia and affirms Watpac's national reputation for excellence in the construction market.

"Watpac permanently established operations in South Australia five years ago and since then we have delivered a number of key projects in Adelaide, including the boutique Mayfair Hotel and the Ibis Adelaide Hotel," Mr Monro said.

"This project further strengthens our reputation for delivering luxury residential projects and we are pleased to be delivering Central Adelaide, which will help shape Adelaide's evolving CBD."ALSO SEE:
