Private property developer
Villawood Properties has announced another major acquisition at the Gold Coast in Kingsholme and Ormeau, marking its sixth on the East Coast in 12 months.
The 233 hectare site already has approval for over 150 rural residential lots, ranging from 4,000 square metres to over 13,350 square metres.
Villawood's Co-Executive Director Tony Johnson said that the site was an opportunity the company couldn’t pass up.
“Our new site at Kingsholme is unique; buyers will be able to enjoy larger lots and a rural lifestyle, whilst still benefiting from a multitude of local amenities right on their door step,” Mr Johnson said.
“This stunning property is elevated, meaning our buyers will benefit from incredible views to the Gold Coast, Stradbroke Island and the Hinterland, making it one of the most enviable locations in this region."

Mr Johnson said that located half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the land is very appealing to those who want the best of both worlds – to work in the Brisbane CBD, but still be able to come home and be close to the beach on the Gold Coast.
“The site offers convenient access to transport and the Pacific Motorway and will be appealing for families wanting to be close to educational facilities, with six schools all within a seven kilometre radius of the site. The Ormeau Train Station is also only two kilometres from the site.”
The site is only around 14 kilometres from Villawood’s recently acquired site in Helensvale.
The sale was managed by Savills' Robert Dunne and Gregory Woods.
Works on the site are expected to commence mid next year.
