Tangcheng’s 22-Storey Return to SA as Owner Eyes Retirement

Tangcheng Development, which exited South Australia early last decade, has returned with a 22-storey tower aproval as the firm’s owner relocates from China to retire to a five-level house in the Adelaide Hills.
The 22-storey tower is planned for 11 Sultram Place in the south-west corner of the Adelaide CBD. The building will have 219 apartments, including 36 affordable apartments, and a ground-floor commercial tenancy.
Intro director of planning Damien Ellis told the State Commission Assessment Panel that approved the project on September 23 that owner Chenghui Xu had brought his family to Adelaide to re-establish Tangcheng.
