South Yard Makes 105 Off-The-Plan Sales In Less Than Four Hours

s

Sales success for Lend Lease's The Yards at Brisbane  Showgrounds has continued, selling 105 of the182 apartments in the second tower, South Yard, off-the-plan in less than four hours.

The Yards has 401 apartments across two contemporary  towers - North Yard and South Yard - and 11 boutique terraces, in an architecturally-dynamic structure designed by award-winning architects,

Hayball.

Over 70 per cent of The Yards apartments are now sold,  after the first release North Yard set a Brisbane record by selling 160 of 208  apartments in four hours in September this year.

CEO of Lend Lease's Property business in Australia,  Tarun Gupta said strong sales highlighted the appetite for this unique precinct.

"Being able to deliver quality amenity through the  new, vibrant King Street will be one of the most exciting elements of the  showgrounds' transformation – creating a great place to live both by day and by night.

"The Yards on King Street expresses our uncompromising  attitude towards quality, endurability and responsive design."The Yards will feature state-of-the-art kitchens and  floor-plans that maximize breezes, views and natural light, and a 2,500 square  metre podium retreat with over 20 wellness and entertainment hubs.

Prices ranged between $385,000 for a one bedroom apartment and $525,000 for a two bedroom and two bathroom apartment.

The Yards will front King Street, which will include a 1,200 square metre supermarket and up to 40 cafes, bars and street dining  options, alongside fresh food providers.

The new inner-city hub adjoins the Fortitude Valley  entertainment precinct and is only 1.6 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Over the next 10 years, it will become a vibrant new destination where 15,000 people will live, work and play.

Remaining apartments at The Yards start from $410,000.

The Yards is expected to commence construction  mid-2015.
