Salta Properties Launches The Park House

Salta Properties has unveiled its newest residential property, The Park House, situated on the banks of the Yarra River in Abbottsford.

Located at 627 Victoria Street, The Park House is designed by architects SJB, reaching nine levels and featuring facades accentuated with curved podiums and sculptured balconies, providing maximum view lines to the city and surrounds.

The project’s end value will be $335 million, and will include a number of amenities like a designated member’s lounge and library, golf simulation room, cinema room, children’s playroom, pool, gym and sauna, a bike workshop and meeting room.

Salta Properties Managing Director Sam Tarascio said The Park House marks the next chapter in the company’s master plan for the Victoria Gardens Precinct.

“The Park House builds on the success of Green Square by going beyond the boundaries of apartment living and creating a space by the Yarra where residents can experience tranquil riverfront living only moments from Melbourne’s bustling CBD."

Landscaping will be completed by TCL Landscaping where native and indigenous trees and plants will complement existing flora and fauna to create an oasis along the river.

Internally, each building is privy to a private courtyard featuring a selection of pods tied together with nodes of seating and planting beds and a pool with a hardwood deck framed by ferns and turf.

On completion, the development will feature four retail spaces fronting Victoria Street as well as a cafe facing the pedestrian and bike bridge.

As a part of its continued contribution to the community, Salta Properties will open up access and enhance the parkland and active transport links in the banks of the Yarra River. When paired with the Bike Workshop where residents can service their bicycles, The Park House is the dream address for the avid cycler and people looking for a more active lifestyle.

The Park House will be Salta Properties’ fourth residential project in the Victoria Gardens Precinct.

One-bedroom apartments start from $435,000 with three bedroom apartments starting from $779,000.

Due to the location and level of amenities within this project, Salta Properties will target The Park House towards owner-occupiers and downsizers as well as the discerning first home buyers and investors.

Construction is set to commence in March 2017 with the expected completion date of November 2018.
