New Southbank Residential Tower Gets Go-Ahead

Altus Development has been given the green light to build a residential tower at 258 City Road in Southbank, Melbourne.

The slender 193m-high, 62-level tower has been designed by Moull Murray Architects and will feature a mix of serviced and private apartments.

There will be 130 one and two bedroom serviced apartments on the first 18 levels which will be operated by Pan Pacific Hotels Group.

Above the 18th floor there will be 323 private one and two bedroom apartments. Three-bedroom penthouse apartments will be in the highest 12 levels.

The tower will also feature a  gym, cinema, health spa and outdoor BBQ entertainment terrace.
