For nearly four years, Nicholas Reece was the City of Melbourne’s deputy mayor.

It is almost the same length of time the city has been waiting for the Victorian Government to approve planning amendments to get housing projects moving ahead.

And now, with four months until local government elections will be held in Victoria, things are coming to a head.
