Vesper, an investment company focused on prime residential properties and the renovation of historic buildings, is going all out with the external decoration of its Chekhov luxury condominium in the heart of Moscow, with the commissioning of brass elements for the project totalling 1.5 million Euros.
Over 12 tons of various shaped architectural brass plates will be used to decorate the facades of the four-storey building. Fins, shutters, frames and other brass elements, all hand-made and hand-patinized, will take up about one third of the building’s wall surface area.
The valuable facade details will be manufactured by Secco of Italy, specialising in brass and steel alloy products used for the decoration of world famous properties. Among them is a legendary Villa Antinori winery in Bargino (Italy) with its corten steel facade solutions and interiors.
Boris Azarenko, chief executive officer of Vesper, said, “We implement the world’s best residential real estate practices in each of our properties engaging international specialists and using materials made by renowned manufacturers.
“Ensuring our buildings are of top quality is one of the company’s key principles. We meticulously select all manufacturers, and only the best ones, who have an impeccable reputation throughout the world are chosen. The design solution of the Chekhov condominium facade, for the decoration of which we ordered 12 tons of architectural brass, will make the building an outstanding architectural landmark of Moscow.”
