Metro's Brisbane Apartments Records Sales Rush

M

Luxury city-fringe living with multi-million dollar residential facilities is still hot property with owner-occupiers and investors, with Metro Property Development’s weekend launch of Brisbane Apartments recording 170 unit sales, valued at more than $97 million, within the first six hours of launch on Saturday.

The $180 million Stage 4, the first of the dual tower Brisbane Apartments at Metro’s Central Village to launch, has 301 one, two and three bedroom apartments priced between $384,000 - $873,000 across 30 levels.

More than 56% of these apartments were sold during the first six hours of the sales campaign. In addition, four retail tenancies, valued at $4.9 million, were secured by commercial property buyers. Combined sales from the weekend launch totaled $102,049,000.

Metro Marketing Director and co-founder, Ken Woodley, said it was a fantastic start for the project and highlighted the continued interest and demand for quality inner-city residential developments in Brisbane.

“Brisbane Apartments, a dual tower staged development, completes the final two stages at Metro’s Central Village development, which already has two completed towers, Oxford Towers and Cambridge Towers, and a third stage Canterbury Towers due for completion and settlement by June.

“The entire project has been a huge success for Metro, not only due to its central location but the focus on extensive residential facilities including a multi-million-dollar man-made beach, recreational hall including a state-of-the-art gym and library, rooftop decks, ground floor retail and more than 7,500m2 of open spaces.”

Residents of the newly launched Brisbane Apartments will also have exclusive access to a rooftop pool offering spectacular views of the Brisbane CBD and suburban skyline.

The architectural design of Brisbane Apartments delivers a new iconic level of modern inner-city living, offering a range of luxurious, modern and high quality residences with an array of extravagant, multi-million dollar facilities including a five-star lobby, town square with top-end retail and dining, rooftop infinity pool, man-made beach and open space.

One of the defining features of this development is its strong architectural connection to the local area. The resulting sculptural buildings provide a striking and urbane addition to the skyline of the precinct and a marker for the area, while the generous town square links the project to the surrounding network of streets.

Mr Woodley said the development’s focus on modern architecture and design incorporating luxury, modern residences and extravagant facilities was a significant driver in the weekend’s sales success.

“Project architects Bureau Proberts have done an outstanding job in designing a master planned development that taps the demand for lifestyle living. It really appeals to our core market of young professionals that want sophisticated easy living and this was evident with the weekend’s sales,” Mr Woodley said.

Brisbane Apartments, located on the corner of Brunswick and Water Streets, is next door to the RNA Showgrounds $2.9 billion 15-year master plan development which will see 22 hectares of year-round community attraction and interaction residential and commercial offerings, a hotel and retail space, and medical and education facilities.
