ICG Property Kicking Goals With ROTHELOWMAN-designed Townhouses

h

Maribyrnong’s stylish Horizon Drive development is selling fast, with more than half of the 32 properties sold since the project was taken over by

ICG Property Group and relaunched in the second half of 2013.

A premium residential subdivision within 10 kilometres of the Melbourne’s CBD and on the doorstep of the redeveloped Highpoint shopping centre, Horizon Drive has a total of 32 two- and three-bedroom townhouses with panoramic river and CBD views. All townhouses have their own garages, a main bathroom and an ensuite.

Designed by renowned architects

ROTHELOWMAN, Horizon Drive is defined by its finish and form. Each home is contemporary in style, blending raw materials, such as timber and stone, with European AEG appliances and an elegant aesthetic.

ROTHELOWMAN Director Kim Lowman said he wanted the townhouses to feel warm and bespoke in their finishes.

“We wanted individuals to be able to imbue their own character through their artwork and furniture, to set up their own style within the home,” Mr Lowman said.

The latest release of townhouses are 121 square metres and configured with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. They are priced from $595,000.

Buyers also have the option of combined two two-bedroom townhouses to create a four-bedroom house with a double garage. These four bedroom homes are priced from $1.2 million.

According to ICG Director Michael Hepburn, it was a combination of an established location, easy access to the CBD and outstanding views that initially drew him to the project.

“The views here, which are unsurpassed, along with the convenience of having highpoint so close, are what sets Horizon Drive apart,” Mr Hepburn said.

“You can’t buy land like this anywhere else in Maribyrnong.”

Horizon Drive selling agent Andrew Steele

from Bluestone Real Estate, said he is receiving strong interest in the premium development, with buyers keen to get into the Maribyrnong area.

“Maribyrnong has undergone a rapid transformation, thanks to market fundamentals and supportive planning policies,” Mr Steele said.

“A rising median price and strong rental demand underpin the suburb’s appeal.

“Maribyrnong’s 7.5 per cent annual growth rate over the past decade is reflective of significant improvements in amenity and lifestyle opportunities for local residents, including the $300 million redevelopment of Highpoint.

“Horizon Drive is the perfect vantage point from where residents can watch Maribyrnong flourish.”
