How to Get Started in House & Land: The Investor's Guide

951cf037-57e3-4261-bb5c-8bf5c4e87817

It’s no secret that house and land packages present investors with one of the best strategies to maximise their rental yield, minimise ongoing costs and provide an opportunity for capital growth – though many investors are unsure of where to start and are in need of a sound strategy and a simplified process.

While house and land packages are becoming the preferred strategy for many investors, choosing the right property can be challenging due to the myriad of options and varying qualities available, according to Realm House & Land managing director Shane Foley.

For new investors, taking the first step is often the hardest and according to the ATO, less than 5 per cent of all Australians own two or more investment properties.

“Last year we released an educational e-book called ‘The Investors Guide to Buying Off-Market House and Land’. We received some great feedback from clients that it provided them with a valuable resource of information," Foley said.

"We are now taking it a step further and making publicly available ‘How to Get Started’, our step-by-step guide to increasing wealth by investing in House & Land based on our five-step strategy wheel.”

It’s important to fully understanding the circumstances and individual needs of investors who often have many questions:

  • How can investors identify high growth areas?

  • How to know if the property is good value?

  • What are the risks involved?

  • What is the right investment strategy for my circumstances?

  • How to maximise property performance

With these questions in mind, Realm House & Land have put together a comprehensive eBook designed to help property investors navigate the waters of buying a house and land package.
