Frank Chalks Up Glitter-Strip Trifecta

While construction is under way on Frank Licastro’s MIRA at Northcliffe, and the Brisbane developer announced MAYA for the neighbouring site, he’s not resting on his laurels.

Licastro’s Frank Developments is plotting its third venture on the Gold Coast, further south at Burleigh.

MYST has been planned for a 1012sq m site at 270 The Esplanade.

A three-storey apartment complex would make way for an 18-storey tower opposite the beach at the northern end of the seaside suburb.

Frank has again teamed with By Culprit to create the modern residential tower.

The tower comprises 32 apartments, predominantly of four bedrooms, across an 18-storey 53m tower with a 9-storey building on one side and a 25-storey proposed on the other side.

The penthouse and sub-penthouse will be whole-floor four-bedroom apartments, and plans show a private pool on the penthouse level.

Amenities including a gym, pool, spa and sauna are proposed for Level 1, while another pool is featured on the ground floor plane.

Car parking would be accommodated across three basement levels.

Licastro recently secured the green light for a boutique apartment development at inner-city New Farm in Brisbane.

He teamed with cousin and builder Joe Licastro’s Signature Property Projects on the four-storey project.

It was a strategic approach under the prevailing industry challenges that has enabled a more streamlined process, the Frank Developments boss said.
