Urban Construct Launches The Residences At Emerald Lakes

T

Developer Urban Construct is set to launch a new villa project at Emerald Lakes following the $47 million sellout of its project The Harbour Village, where all 83 lakefront villas have sold.

The new $28.8 million project - to be called The Residences - comprises luxury villas on a hilltop site at Emerald Lakes, overlooking the lake.

The first stage will be released this week, with villas available in two and three bedroom layouts, all with double garages and most with private yards. Prices start from just $429,900.

Urban Construct Managing Director Todd Brown says The Residences are luxurious villas designed for local owner-occupiers looking to downsize.

"We sold 80 per cent of the 33 villas in stage one of The Harbour Village within just three weeks of launch, and I'm expecting a repeat performance with The Residences because the style of the project is very similar, with this new release at a more competitive price point," Mr Brown said.

Mr Brown says he expects sales at The Residences to be driven by location and major infrastructure upgrades announced for Carrara and surrounding areas.

"The start of work on the $101 million Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre for the Commonwealth Games is a big win for the area," Mr Brown said.

"The State Government has also announced a $160 million upgrade to major road networks along the inland coastal corridor.

The Residences at Emerald Lakes is being developed by Urban Construct, in conjunction with joint venture partner Nifsan.

Urban Construct was also behind The Harbour Village at Emerald Lakes, with all 83 villas sold out in 90 days, and The Islands at Emerald Lakes, with 93 villas now sold and constructed.
