Commercial and residential developers are looking to up the lux of amenities through personalised interior design consultation and integrated digital solutions.

This is where projects can align form, function and architecture to value-add fitness spaces, a necessity for high-end developments.

Technogym Atelier and Artis Luxury equipment are part of premium, design-led Italian made wellness spaces.

The turnkey solution that enhances property value, resident appeal, and differentiation in competitive markets particularly as the Mediterranean influence continues to trend.

The “healthness” company’s interior designers is fitting out gyms from the Netherlands to Brazil and beyond, and is right at home as the heart of luxury projects.

Most recently Technogym created modern health inspiration within the five-star Anantara Palazzo Naiadi hotel in Rome, which boasts 19th-century marble architecture and 232 rooms.

The hotel sits on top of the ancient Baths of Diocletian. Before enjoying hydrothermal indulgence, guests can undertake a workout in an architecturally integrated, premium space.

This level of luxury is a long way from the company’s 1983 roots when Nerio Alessandri developed the first Hack Squat machine.

The Technogym interior designer team Merve Durmaz and Kristen Chen said the company was quickly becoming a partner of choice for luxury wellness spaces across Australia.

“We provided free interior design consultations for all manner of residential and commercial developments,” they said.

“This includes expert support from concept to installation, including 3D layouts and space planning.

“The Artis Luxury collection has a premium equipment range which combines timeless aesthetics with advanced biomechanics and full ecosystem connectivity.

“The full range of premium cardio, strength, and Biostrength equipment creates a cohesive, high-end aesthetic which can be customised in colours, materials, and finish.”

The Technogym Atelier is a complete design journey—offering custom wellness spaces through tailored layouts, finishes, and seamless architectural integration.

“Aesthetics and performance can coexist, appealing to style-conscious projects that require both high-end function and visual harmony,” Chen said.

“Bespoke, design-aligned wellness spaces add real value to luxury developments and interiors.”

The free interior design consultation removes friction in the design process by offering expert planning support, making it easier for developers and designers to deliver premium wellness solutions.

It shifts the conversation from standard gym fit-outs to bespoke wellness environments that add architectural value, user experience, and brand prestige to residential and hospitality projects.
