Cedar Woods Development Green-lit By Council

G

Kingston City Council has recently granted stage one development approval to Cedar Woods' Jackson Green development in Clayton South, located 19 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's CBD.

In late 2014, Cedar Woods submitted an application to transform the former industrial site for residential use, envisaging a boutique community with a minimum of 300 dwellings offering a choice of housing types.

Cedar Woods' State Manager Nathan Blackburne said, "Jackson Green offers a superior community lifestyle and we anticipate significant market demand for this first class urban renewal project."

"The development includes a variety of housing options, ranging from one and two bedroom apartments, to townhouses and four bedroom houses."The contemporary design of Jackson Green will cater to a broad demographic, including smaller households and the family market, to meet the needs of a growing population in the Clayton South area.
