Developer Reveals 39-Storey Gold Highrise for Burwood

Developer Plots Inner West 39-Storey Gold Tower

A mixed-use tower in the truest sense—with offices, a hotel and dual-key apartments—has been put forward for Sydney’s inner-west.

Diversity of use has been a key element for developers struggling to get projects to stack up and NSW Housing Corporation is very much taking this approach with its Burwood proposal.

The company, the director of which is listed as development company Conquest’s chief executive, Michael Akkawi, is planning the 39-storey highrise for its site at 2-4 Burleigh Street and 20-24 Railway Parade, about 12.6km west of the Sydney CBD by road.
