Brookfield Multiplex to Deliver Sydney's Tallest Residential Tower

G

Brookfield Multiplex has been appointed as sole contractor to construct the iconic

Greenland Centre Residential Tower at 115 Bathurst Street in Sydney’s CBD.

The $800 million development is set to be the tallest residential tower on Sydney’s skyline with 67 levels, and will include 480 apartments in one, two and three bedroom configurations with spectacular sub-penthouse and penthouse residences.

David Ghannoum Regional Managing Director of New South Wales at Brookfield Multiplex said “We are delighted to be constructing such a significant project for Sydney and we look forward to partnering with Greenland to deliver what will be a unique and architecturally stunning inner-city apartment building."Greenland Centre tower will rise 235 metres above ground level with uninterrupted panoramic views from the upper levels encompassing far reaching harbour, city and parkland views. The development will retain its existing basement car parking and will also include seven levels of above ground parking.

Designed by architects

BVN Donovan Hill in association with

Woods Bagot the tower features a unique blend of indoor-outdoor connection with revolutionary “Sydney Balconies”. Glass-fronted balconies will protect from wind and noise whilst timber flooring brings the outdoors in, creating a sense of being on a verandah.

Brookfield Multiplex has significant residential construction and development experience building some of Sydney’s most sought after high quality towers including Lumiere, The Wharf, Woolloomooloo, Bennelong Centre, Manhattan Apartments and Beau Monde.

Shanghai-based developer Greenland Group currently has 23 ultra-high-rise towers either under construction or completed internationally, four of which are in ranked in the world’s top 10 in height. Greenland’s real estate projects span throughout more than 90 cities in China, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Germany, UK, Canada, Spain and America.
