The Doma Group has received planning approval from the NSW Department of Planning for the new $38 million development to be built next to the NIB building on Honeysuckle Drive.
Doma Group's General Manager of Development Gavin Edgar said the new development was benefiting from recent announcements by the NSW Government including the light rail.
"Tenants are already seeing the benefits of being in the Honeysuckle waterfront precinct and with the new connectivity to the CBD we expect that this will be an attractive office location for firms looking to provide the best amenity to their staff."

Mr Edgar said they propose to build a mixed-use development consisting of two new seven-storey buildings which will be comprised of new 5-star Greenstar office space, ground floor retail and residential units.
"Designed by local Newcastle architects DWP Suters, this project will be a welcome extension of the Honeysuckle commercial strip which is already a popular address for top tier private sector and NSW Government tenants, complemented by 71 residential units."
