Valli Group Files Plans for Fitzroy Mixed-Use Project

Pandolfini Architects rendering of the Valli Group Fitzroy proposed mixed use scheme

Valli Group has returned to the Yarra City Council with plans for a seven-storey development at Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, adding to the MAB-backed developer’s growing portfolio of inner-Melbourne projects including sites at Collingwood and East Melbourne.

The application for 430-444 Brunswick Street proposes 35 apartments alongside 558sq m of retail space and 361sq m of office space across the corner site at Cecil Street, 1.7km north of Melbourne’s CBD.

According to a planning report, the Pandolfini Architects-designed building would include a two-storey podium with stepped upper levels designed to reduce visual bulk and overshadowing on surrounding properties.
