Build-to-rent giant Sentinel is expanding its footprint in Melbourne with the acquisition of a 6528sq m site at North Melbourne, its second in the build-to-rent capital.
The site at 23-47 Villiers was settled last month for an undisclosed sum in a deal with the Australian Red Cross.
It’s a stone’s throw from one of Melbourne’s growing build-to-rent hubs at Queen Victoria Market where Mirvac’s first Melbourne project, Liv Munro, opened last year, and Lendlease recently announced a 560-apartment build-to-rent tower as part of its $1.7-billion Queen Vic Markets redevelopment.
