RLB Appoints Global Board Chair, Peter Tulla

Adelaide-based Peter Tulla will lead the global board of Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) for the next two years.

Peter takes the reins from UK-based Andrew Reynolds, who steps down after two years leading the RLB Global Board.

RLB is a global independent construction, property and management consultancy with 130 offices and 4500 employees across 34 countries.

Outgoing global board chair Reynolds said, “Peter’s exceptional skills, extensive track record and unwavering dedication to our profession make him the ideal leader to steer RLB into its next chapter.

“His enthusiasm for innovation and excellence will undoubtedly inspire our global team and I look forward to working with Peter in delivering for our business and industry.”

As director of RLB in South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, Tulla will continue to contribute to iconic projects in the aviation (buildings and infrastructure), commercial, defence, education and industrial sectors.

Experienced

A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Tulla has served on RLB’s Oceania board since 2011 and the RLB global board since 2013.

“I have had the privilege of sitting on the global board for more than a decade and am proud to continue to contribute to RLB’s next phase of growth,” Tulla said.

“I would like to acknowledge all that Andy Reynolds has achieved for our business, clients and colleagues during his tenure. Andy has championed a ‘one team’ mindset, connecting our 4500 people across 34 countries.

“Our talented teams play a pivotal role in helping clients bring imagination to life. RLB’s work shapes the way people live, the way our cities function and the way our planet prospers.”

Megatrends

In his role as global board chair, Tulla will contribute to several visionary projects, aligned with RLB’s new strategic plan and responsive to megatrends reshaping the global property and construction industry.

Among these are a global data warehouse that capitalises on the strength of RLB’s global footprint.

“As the future comes into focus, RLB will remain a trusted advisor, proud of our independence and expertise, and committed to doing the right thing for our clients and society.

“I am excited to lead the global board in this new term,” Tulla said.
