Australia's fastest growing elevator company, Orbitz Elevators has signed a historic agreement to supply, install and service Hitachi Elevators in the Australian market.
At last, Japanese-quality elevators, escalators and moving walkways are available for supply, installation, servicing and support in Australia.
Hitachi is responsible for manufacturing and installing the fastest elevator in the world at 21.0 metres per second in Guangzhou, China.
Hitachi and Orbitz Elevators will supply a diverse range of high quality products which covers the complete range of lifts, escalators and walkways to meet the demands of the local markets.
Designed in accordance with AS 1735 Part 1-2016, and other Australian lift codes, the Hitachi product range is designed with the latest technology and performance that the Japanese major lift companies are renowned for.
Fully integrated using all Hitachi components, the lift systems are developed and installed to bring a high level of reliability and performance to the local markets.
Orbitz Elevators managing director Jonathan Dwayre said that Hitachi was a “great fit” with Orbitz's culture, vision and values.
“We were looking for a new partner in the Australian market and Hitachi's product, staff, corporate culture and high quality product range made our decision easy,” Dwayre said.
Hitachi Australia director Anand Singh endorsed Dwayre's comments, adding that the need to find the right partner in Australia was critical to the ongoing success of the Hitachi organisation.
