Mirvac Group, has lodged the development application to build a $500 million, commercial project at 477 Collins Street in Melbourne's CBD.
The building will rise above the heritage facade of the Olderfleet buildings, which were constructed between 1887 and 1889 and will comprise 50,000 square metres of new office space.

Grimshaw, 477 Collins Street will be Mirvac's largest commercial tower built in Australia.
Mirvac’s Executive of Commercial Development, David Rolls, told The Sydney Morning Herald that 477 Collins Street will incorporate the vertical village concept, that Mirvac created at 8 Chifley Square in Sydney.
477 Colllins Street will also include client-dedicated floors with lounges, outside spaces and gardens every eight storeys.
Construction is scheduled for 2016 with completion due in 2019.
