Cavcorp sets the bar high with Kurv in Brisbane's Newstead

Cavcorp, the developer behind Nundah’s Parkside Apartments, has submitted a development application to build a six level boutique mixed use tower at 31 Longland Street, Newstead known as ‘Kurv’.

The unique design, which has been crafted by

Orbit Architecture will feature two glass bottom pools on the level 6 skydeck as well as recreation and barbecue facilities.

The design of Kurv has raised the bar for architecture in Brisbane’s inner city. It has resisted the usual ‘box envelope’ shape while also continuing podium lines from the neighbouring brick character building.

Kurv also includes:

  •  Ground floor restaurant and offices.

  • Five levels of 55 apartments

  • 25 – 1 bedroom studio apartments

  • 30 – 2 bedroom apartments

  • 92 car spaces

  • Bicycle parking

Cavcorp are also undertaking a similar boutique residential development called

Como Teneriffe (below) which is now nearing completion.

The development comprises of 93 one, two and three bedroom apartments across 10 levels. The tower is equipped with a 15m lap pool and gymnasium.
