Homecorp Pitches 25-Storey Surfers Paradise Highrise

Tower plans rising 25 storeys have been filed for the southern edge of Surfers Paradise next to the tourist hotspot’s long-established Cascade Gardens parkland.
Developer Homecorp Property Group—led by Ron Bakir and backed by Japanese corporate giants Toyota and Panasonic—is behind the proposal.
It is earmarked for a 1495sq m site at 24 Monte Carlo Avenue neighbouring the waterfront park established in the 1950s that spans several hectares and features a Kokoda Memorial Walk.
