Harvey Norman Commercial Victoria Delivers for Sky Garden

Bold, sculptural and elegant, the three towers of Sky Garden rise above the redeveloped The Glen Shopping Centre, located in the heart of Glen Waverley.

Conceptualised by award-winning architects Rothelowman and DKO Architecture, Sky Garden is an iconic address with distinctive architecture, luxurious interiors, and impressive amenities paired with sweeping panoramic views from the Dandenong Ranges to Melbourne’s city skyline.

Inspired by five natural elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood, each of the three towers has its own character.

Likewise, the project’s sanitary ware is just as unique, featuring customised fixtures and fitting throughout.

Collaborating closely with Harvey Norman Commercial Victoria, Streamline Products were tasked with translating the architect’s exceptional vision into a reality.

As developers, architects and designers sought customised bathroom products to ensure projects had a one-of-a-kind creative edge, few suppliers could locally design and deliver to meet the agile nature of project build timelines, Harvey Norman Commercial Victoria Plumbing general manager Steve Zavalas said.

“We knew Streamline had the knowledge and expertise to deliver on the brief to the highest standard,” Zavalas said.

Developing a wholly original accessory range for the project reflective of Sky Garden’s unique aesthetic, Streamline drew inspiration from their existing Vierra tapware collection.

Adapting the collection to feature precision-squared side-face knurling on handles, all accessories feature an exquisite custom brushed-surface finish.

In order to achieve the highly refined finish, Streamline perfected new engineering technology within their research and development department.

Committed to delivering a highly specialised sanitary ware specification offering for the project, Streamline also created custom solid-surface basins to complement bespoke joinery within the unique bathroom spaces.

In addition to the custom basins, tapware and accessory ranges, three new PVD colours were introduced to complete the story for the success of the Sky Garden visualisation.

The PVD colours—Champagne Brass, Rich Bronze and Lustre Bronze—were presented and adapted beautifully into the development.

A unique and highly customised project boasting exclusive and intricate design features, Sky Garden effortlessly integrates high-end residential living with first-class retail and entertainment offerings for the ultimate cosmopolitan lifestyle.

Harvey Norman Commercial Victoria is proud to have supplied Streamline Products for this innovative project. With showrooms located at Port Melbourne in Victoria, Taren Point, Somersby and Nowra in New South Wales, Mitchell ACT, Mile End in South Australia, Osborne Park in Western Australia, Stapylton, Warana and Townsville in Queensland, Darwin Northern Territory and Cambridge Tasmania, Harvey Norman Commercial is an invaluable resource for all project requirements.
