Harvey Norman Commercial Delivers Smart Tech at The Landmark

736ee40a-de7e-493b-ad9f-9aa400630fc3

Luxury Sydney development The Landmark is a 43-storey tower in St Leonards from developer New Hope VIMG that's creating a vertical community of 429 studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments.

It also features exclusive sky penthouses which are more luxurious and larger—200sq m and 300sq m internally—than has been seen in this precinct before.

Designed by Tony Leung’s A+ Architecture, The Landmark has already turned heads by winning the gold award design for best proposed architecture at the 2015 Design Awards.

The developer has ensured the luxury development has the absolute best features inside for future residents and guests with hotel resort style amenities including a pool and spa area with sauna, virtual golf room, discovery playground, private cinema, music rehearsal space, library, dining and lounge areas that can be booked for private functions.

Harvey Norman Commercial Kris Leffler, Smart Technologies divisional manager NSW and ACT said the New Hope sky penthouses boast some of the best views in Sydney.

"Not only do the sky penthouses feature impressive finishes and smart home automation New Hope apartments boasts supreme finishes, including high ceilings, private balconies, generous living areas and kitchens with stone benches and Miele appliances," Leffler said.

"Upgrade options include smart home automation and EV charging in the basement among others."

Harvey Norman Commercial Division NSW worked with New Hope to deliver a solution that would meet expectations as the best in class with practical, next generation smart home automation technology by KASTA.

"With multiple applications and limitless possibilities, the Smart Home pack will include smart lighting switches, Smart GPO’s, Google Nest WiFi and Google Hub for voice control," Leffler said.

"From here the possibilities are almost endless for additions and further upgrades."

Harvey Norman Commercial is currently working with Hutchinson Builders and SDF Electrical to not only deliver, program and commission the Smart Home systems but have also designed the development's multiple cinemas.

"We will be supplying, installing and commissioning the private cinemas to ensure the experience exceeds the normal night out to the movies," Leffler said.

Harvey Norman Commercial worked with New Hope and Vantage Interactive to design and install a display suite that would please even the fussiest of purchasers.

"The display features a custom-built app that makes the walk through quite an experience, showcasing apartment layouts and locations on a 200” projection as well as a 270-degree immersive room with audio and visuals, delivering a totally immersive experience," Leffler said.

The display features the KASTA and Google Smart Home Technology and other upgrades and inclusion.

Harvey Norman Commercial says its is looking forward to delivery of the project towards the end of 2021.
