John Camilleri’s buying spree along one of the Gold Coast’s most premium streets continues with the acquisition and revised plans for Luxcon’s Escape tower site.
Camilleri, alongside George Tsekouras, the directors of EJC Nominees Pty Limited, acquired the 1011sq m Surfers Paradise site for $37 million in August, according to CoreLogic data.
The famous breeder of the champion racing mare Winx has filed changes with the Gold Coast City Council for the former Luxcon project at 63-65 Garfield Terrace, adding another storey to the tower, and changing up internal configurations to boost the number of apartments from 33 to 55.
