Coolangatta Complex Gets $60m Facelift

2

A $60 million facelift has put The Strand - formerly known as Showcase on the Beach - back on Coolangatta's retail map with the shopping precinct now offering more than 120 stores and restaurants in one of Queensland's most iconic beachside destinations.

The redevelopment works on Marine Parade have reinvigorated the existing precinct to offer visitors and locals a more diverse and vibrant mix of upgraded amenities, including a 3,800 metres squared Woolworths supermarket.

Australasian design firm The Buchan Group managed the architectural delivery of The Strand redevelopment, including refurbishment and design development works for the retail, entertainment and fine dining precincts. The final fit-out work for the remaining external and internal tenants has almost reached completion.
