The redevelopment of South Yarra’s Jam Factory, which as the name suggests produced pressed fruit condiments for nearly 100 years, is back before the City of Stonnington next week.
Developers are looking for amendments to the approved five-tower project that will allow them to increase their yield at a time when modern office blocks are costing more to build, are worth less and tenant demand is waning.
It’s not just the developers awaiting the council’s decision.
