A Brisbane developer plans to expand the inner north’s affordable housing stock, adding rooms for key workers.

The rooming accommodation development planned for 50 Hooker Street at Windsor would add to a growing supply of affordable rental housing in the area.

Under the plans submitted to Brisbane City Council, a five-bedroom home would make way for a two-storey block of 18 single-occupancy rooms across four suites.
