Billbergia, Metrics Chase 46 Storeys in $400m Towers Uplift

Billbergia Chatswood Twin Towers

A 5000-plus square metre site on Sydney’s Lower North Shore is cleared and work-ready—but a new evolution of the twin-tower project has been tabled.

Joint-venture partners Billbergia and Metrics—the latter an alternative asset manager with more than $30 billion in funds—are chasing an extra 18 storeys for the court-approved towers at 849, 853 and 859 Pacific Highway and 2 and 8 Wilson Street at Chatswood.

Dubbed Chatswood Grand Residences, the up to $400-million scheme would deliver about 450 apartments, including 60 affordable to be managed by a community housing provider for 15 years.
