Central Element Goes Public with Plan to Split Lavender Bay Tower

Plans by Central Element for a scheme in Sydney’s Lavender Bay reveal a significant pivot from the application originally endorsed by the Housing Delivery Authority.

While a single 20-storey tower yielding 140 apartments had initially been proposed, the current plans, now on exhibition, would result in two towers of 32 and 23 storeys, yielding 160 apartments.

However, Central Element says the redesigned proposal at 64-66 Lavender Street and 3-7 Middlemiss Street would actually result in lower overshadowing impacts.
