President-elect Donald Trump has made Trump Tower on busy Fifth Avenue in New York his official headquarters during his transition period. It’s turned the area surrounding the building into chaos, but that hasn’t stopped one of New York’s top surgeons placing his pad on the market.
Dr Sam Rizk who specialises in rhinoplasty reportedly has his renovated ‘sky home’ condominium on the market, located on Trump Tower’s 32nd floor, for almost $13 million, according to The New York Post.
But it’s a significant difference from the $25 million the home was originally advertised for in 2014, after undergoing a three-year renovation and turning the home into a “warm, family environment” from a reported bachelor pad, according to The Real Deal.
The four-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, nine-room sky home with south, east and west exposure spans 3502sqft has been meticulously renovated to deliver on every level.
In 2014, the ‘media’ room originally came with a soundproof home theatre with leather chairs by Bentley Motors.
In the home at 845 United Nations Plaza, apt 32AE, a state-of-the-art windowed Poggenpohl kitchen awaits in the east wing, exquisitely appointed with beautiful Caesarstone counters and floor, and Subzero and Miele appliances for the most discerning chef.
Past and present residents of the building include former New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter, who sold his condo for $15.5 million, and Blackstone billionaire Chinh E. Chu, who owns the penthouse, which comes with a 30-foot waterfall and reflecting pool, a Zen garden, tea house, game room, recording studio, screening room, day spa, gym and barrel-vaulted wine cellar that stores up to 2,000 bottles.
Trump Tower, home to Donald Trump and the corporate offices of The Trump Organisation, is one of Manhattan’s most iconic buildings. With a private entrance on 56th street, The Trump Tower condominiums rise from the 30th to the 68th floor.
