Shoptop Project Uptick Escalates in Sydney’s East

The surge in mixed-use and shoptop developments in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has returned with fresh projects filed for Bondi and the wider Waverley Council area.
Two significant development applications have been submitted as two others received approval, highlighting the region’s move towards integrated residential and commercial spaces in this high-demand area.
One of the new proposals, at 525 Old South Head Road, Rose Bay, would replace an older commercial building with a five-storey shoptop development.
