Frasers Reveals Warehouse Plan for Kemps Creek

The Edge Estate along Aldington Road in Kemps Creek, Western Sydney.

Frasers Property Industrial has unveiled plans for a $1-billion masterplanned industrial precinct in the Western Sydney’s Mamre Road Precinct.

The site at 167-201 Aldington Road is slated to become Edge, a two-stage warehouse and office space.

Edge will take over two sites, Edge South and Edge North—the South side will span about 63.2ha with 16 lots, and the North side will comprise eight lots across 10.1ha.

The project will include a running and cycling track, barbecues, an onsite cafe, and green space.

The masterplanned community will be 15km from the not-yet-built Western Sydney Airport and is within a prime development location.

Sustainability features of Edge include rooftop solar systems, rainwater reuse, energy metering, and LED lighting—and will aim for a minimum of a five star green rating.

Frasers declined to disclose how much they acquired the site for, however, records show the developer spent $150 million on other land along Aldington Road.

▲ Frasers’ plans for the area would substantially expand development in Kemps Creek.

Nearby $1-billion Kemps Creek logistics estate The Yards was also marketed with Frasers and is one of Sydney’s largest industrial developments.

Other developments in Kemps Creek include the $700-million 56ha neutral industrial estate—also part of the $2.6 billion Mamre Road Precinct.
