Developer Crown Group will open its third luxury serviced apartment hotel this year as part of its $575 million 20-storey “Infinity” development.
The hotel component, set to open mid-year, will comprise 90 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments amid the Koichi Takada-designed Infinity development, which also features 326 residential apartments, a convention centre, along with a retail and dining precinct.
The Infinity development forms part of the $13 billion Green Square redevelopment.
Crown Group director of hotels Wayne Taranto said the latest suites build upon the luxury hotel experience within an urban resort, offering “the convenience and comfort of an apartment and the amenities of a hotel”.
The first Skye Suites opened in August 2017, with 72 hotel apartments situated in the V by Crown Group residential tower in Parramatta.
The second offering, comprising 73 hotel apartments, opened in the 25-storey residential apartment tower Arc by Crown Group on Clarence Street, Sydney CBD in November last year.
Developer Crown Group currently has a $5 billion portfolio of projects under development and in the pipeline.
Crown Group ’s four major Sydney projects under way include Infinity in Green Square; Waterfall by Crown Group in Waterloo, the $500 million five tower Waterloo precinct called “Mastery” which is being developed with Mitsubishi Jisho Residence, and Eastlakes Live in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
Taranto says Green Square hotel guests will have direct access to Green Square train station, located one stop from the CBD, and proximity to Sydney airport.
