Covers Come Off Brisbane Carpark-Top Hospital Plans

A rendering of Barwon's privately funded day hospital approved for the PA precinct.

Wrapping around and topping an existing 10-storey carpark, a new specialist private hospital and healthcare facility across two interconnected towers is planned for Brisbane’s southside.

Barwon Investment Partners has taken the covers off its proposed PA Health Connect development at Buranda, opposite the city’s second-biggest hospital.

It has filed a request for Ministerial Infrastructure Designation over the 5106sq m site at 248 Ipswich Road across the road from Princess Alexandra Hospital.
