Citimark Properties has spent $7.9 million on a 2.1ha site, the last vacant block of the first stage of south-east Queensland’s next city.
Waraba, west of Caboolture and about 60km north of Brisbane, is earmarked for 30,000 homes and about 70,000 residents.
Citimark Properties director of commercial and retail Jonathan King said the site at 495 Caboolture River Road neighboured a Coles-anchored development and residential zoned where work is under way on about 2000 lots.
