A new managed accommodation village in New South Wales’ Hunter Region is providing solutions to the growing housing pressures that have recently sparked concern amongst local leaders and residents.
Ausco Modular Managing Director Anthony Walsh said the new Stayover in Muswellbrook, due to open in August, was constructed to provide a solution to the housing problems associated with the expanding resources industry in the district.
“Ausco Modular’s
Stayover in Muswellbrook
offers an initial 92 rooms for employees and contractors working within local mining and resource industries,” Mr Walsh said.
“The village will grow to 360 rooms and will assist the Hunter Region with the additional accommodation infrastructure it so desperately needs.
“The village is Muswellbrook’s first purpose-built managed accommodation village. Its design and operation is underpinned by principles founded in the hotel and hospitality industries,” Mr Walsh said.
Residents will have access to private en suite rooms, a tennis court, a swimming pool, landscaped grounds and other social facilities.
