An expression of interest campaign is imminent for the triple-supermarket Tweed Mall, with approval for a $900-million masterplan attached to the Kyron Capital asset.

However, the mall is also being positioned as an operational asset, and a sale upwards of $100 million is expected.

McVay Real Estate managing director Sam McVay told The Urban Developer that, given the mall’s location just 350m south of the border, he expects interest from  international investors looking for South-East Queensland exposure without the tax implications.
