Newcastle Warehouse District’s $262m First Stage Greenlit

A $262-million industrial and logistics facility has been approved in the Hunter Valley at the junction of multiple major highways and rail lines.

The Hunter Central Logistics Estate will comprise nearly 100,000sq m of industrial land at 1134 John Renshaw Drive, Black Hill, with two warehouses greenlit as part of the proposal.

Future tranches of development will follow for the estate, which lies about 25km north-west of the Newcastle CBD and near the M1 Pacific Highway and New England Highway, the Hunter Expressway, the Main Northern Rail Line and the Hunter Valley Coal Chain.
