‘Park One’ Heralds Golden Age Of Macquarie Park Living

Park One, the latest Sydney offering from prestige developer Golden Age, has redefined the meaning of luxury for apartment buyers and created a new benchmark for sophisticated urban living.

Set in the heart of iconic Macquarie Park, it is a development that not only offers residents the finest in design and decor, but returns to them the luxuries of time, oxygen and space that have vanished in today’s cluttered urban world.

The location of Park One is key to residents experiencing this enhanced way of life. Time is the most elusive commodity of all and the location of Park One puts time in residents’ pockets.

It is a story most effectively told in numbers. The shimmering buildings of Park One are at the heart of Macquarie Park. From the development, it is 100 metres to Macquarie Centre, 200 metres to Macquarie University station, 200 metres to Macquarie University and 300 metres to Macquarie Park CBD.

The development’s 5000 square metre private park, designed by landscapers Aspect Studios, will play a large role in residents’ lives according to Golden Age Marketing and Sales Director Dandan Zhao. It will  bring to them the pleasures of nature and being outdoors, of breathing in forest air and appreciating the value of nature.

“In today’s society, fresh air is often a luxury,” she says. “People go from their apartment to their office without ever getting out into nature and experiencing the environment around them.

“What we have here for residents is a tranquil urban forest where residents can relax, draw breath and regenerate,” says Ms Zhao.

The recreational areas are seamlessly integrated into the design of the 19 level buildings. Residents can exercise on the running track, play pingpang, relax on a summer evening at the outdoor cinema, take the children to the playground, read a book on the great lawn or find a secret corner for quiet contemplation in the urban zen forest.

Ms Zhao says that the park also promotes community. “You can have a picnic with the family, watch a movie, you get talking to the neighbours and pretty soon you get to know them. This is the way communities grow.”

The interiors of Park One also soothe the soul. Renowned practice DKO Architects has designed elegance and refinement into spaces that are perfectly tailored for urban living.

Residents are welcomed by a majestic jacaranda tree, Sydney’s springtime paintbrush, and then into an interior of contemporary sophistication.

The 409 one, two and three bedroom apartments are designed to be an elegant backdrop to residents’ taste and personality. Quality materials and fittings ensure that the apartments will look as good in years to come as they do when the doors are opened for the first time.

Space, storage and terraces are all features of the design and island bench kitchens are designed for people who care about cooking.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments have large private terraces, five-burner stoves, walk-in wardrobes to the main bedroom and will have deep freestanding baths in spacious bathrooms.

Shared facilities in the gently curved towers include a residents lounge and a rooftop sky garden with barbecue terrace landscaped for all-year-round use and spectacular views of the CBD’s iconic silhouette. Residents will also enjoy ease of access to a café and convenience store on the ground floor of the building.

At 80 Waterloo Road, Park One is in a precinct of urban revitalisation with commercial, retail, health, employment and education expansion planned for the near future.
